Getting started
After many people asking…..“so what house are you working on this week?” I decided to jump into the world of blogging……so keep up as “Irresistible Homes” takes you door to door, so to speak, into the world of staging and designing.
What really prompted me to get into Real Estate years ago, was my love to present homes (Oh ya, did I mention I was also a licensed realtor?) I have a natural inclination to “think outside the box”……so a ‘boring’ or a ‘way ugly’ room doesn’t even hit my radar when it comes to presentation. When there is a will, there’s a way……and any space with some creativity can shine. And shine you must, when it comes to MLS and marketing your home over your competition.
What a better place to start my blog, than back a few years ago with my first staging job. I lost out on a listing to another Realtor…..but that happens in this industry!!
But then came my second chance!!! When the house didn’t sell with the first Realtor (nor did it even get showings in the 3 months on the market) I got a call to put my sign up and give it a whirl. But before that could happen, I helped these clients transform the home. Within a month, the house was sold, and the stress was off for the Sellers and I was a happy Realtor.
Here’s what my Seller had to say:

But that got my mind to thinking…. there could be potential for a business here! Thus, the birth of “Irresistible Homes”. My extra furniture, a little ingenuity and creativity, and always keeping my eye out for those key focal pieces, has helped create an avenue to assist my own clients as well as the clients of other Realtors be able to keep more money in their own pocket and sell quicker.
